Myanmar famous composer, Maung Thit Min passed away on 5 June 2011 at Samitivej Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. Maung Thit Min had suffered colon cancer since November 2010. He came to Bangkok to receive treatment at Samitivej Hospital at the end of May 2011. But it was too late, he died in the morning of 5 June, one day before his birthday. Maung Thit Min's Body will be cremated in Bangkok, and then his family will bring back his ashes to Yangon, Myanmar.
